In my fourth “Candid Candace: The Podcast,” I am privileged to interview the hardest working woman in Chicago politics, Cook County Treasurer Maria Pappas. Besides being a friend, she is the head of one of the largest government systems in the world. In our chat, she offers some advice for our new Mayor Brandon Johnson, shares her thoughts on NASCAR and gives us an insight into how her remarkable agency operates. I also offer my opinion on the Meghan and Harry paparazzi “news” as well as share some great upcoming events for you to add to your calendar.
